Fire Season began May 15. Current fire danger is EXTREME.
Thank you for your support. Greensprings Rural Fire District is funded through Community memberships and donations. Your membership cost and/or donation is 100% tax-deductible and helps provide equipment, training, facilities, and community wildfire resilience programs that benefit the Greensprings community.
IN AN EMERGENCY, GRFD WILL RESPOND AND ASSIST REGARDLESS OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP STATUS.
We are currently upgrading our website and online payment system. Online membership renewals and donations will be available here soon.
Until online payments are available, memberships and donations may be made:
In person at the GSFR Annual Meeting
At GSFR fundraising events throughout the year
By contacting GSFR Treasurer Gail Colbern for assistance with membership renewals, donations, or sponsorships, or leaving a message for Gail at 541-488-0911
We appreciate your patience as we complete these improvements and thank you for your continued support of your local volunteer fire and emergency services community.
GSFR gladly accepts your bottle & can donations for BottleDrop
Greensprings Fire and Rescue is raising money for our fire department by collecting and redeeming refundable glass/plastic bottles and cans to BottleDrop. Your donated containers are an important contribution that doesn't have to come right out of your pocket.
Here's how to do it!
Contact Laura, GSFR board member, at lauradela67@me.com to learn about the process. It's easy! Or, read on ...
1. Open a free BottleDrop account, if you don't already have one, and start saving containers. (https://bottledrop.com)
2. You can donate full green bags directly to us (see below) or just transfer funds from your account balance. Contact Laura if you need help navigating your account.
1. Just start collecting. You can use regular trash bags.
2. Save up several bags if you can and then contact Laura to arrange a collection.
3. If you have a large household, work place, school, or an affiliation with any establishment that already recycles, or could recycle and collect drink containers, we can provide free blue nonprofit collection bags and arrange for pickup.
